I was looking for advice on what to do in a situation with my future in-laws, who were not happy with some of the wedding decisions that were being made. I realized that having a third-party - not my parents, siblings or bridesmaids, or even my partner - was SO valuable.
I wasn't expecting to find out so much about myself, too, but I really did. I learned a lot about my communication style and how it is different than my partner’s; I also learned more about myself in regard to my anxiety, where it stems from, and why I have a hard time letting go/giving up tasks to others.   • I can't say enough about how amazing Jacquelyn was! I wear almost no makeup normally, and she walked me through the whole process. She is so knowledgeable with her work, and it was so enjoyable to learn about what she was doing as she was doing it. Her passion for enhancing the beauty you already have inside and out was evident throughout the whole day. I loved the final look of my face as well as everyone in the wedding party! Makeup aside, she was a joyful and grounding advocate that I didn't know I needed.   • I was recently a bridesmaid in my brother and sister-in-law's wedding. Jacquelyn did all the makeup for the bride, bridesmaids, and mother of the bride. The first time I met with Jacquelyn was during my sister-in-law's makeup trial with her. From the very beginning to the day of the wedding, she was always warm, welcoming, and professional. Though the nature of travel in this pandemic kept her from physically being next to me on my big in Seattle, Jacquelyn found a way to make sure that I knew how to light up my own face on my wedding day through a Zoom tutorial, a shopping list, and tips while I practiced.   • Jacquelyn is hands-down the best in the business. I have had my makeup done multiple times for different events with other makeup artists, and Jacquelyn is the first one to completely nail it! She created a flawless look for myself, my sister, and my best friend. The day I got married, it was very humid, and all of our makeup held up all night and looked beautiful in photos.   • J was incredible in every way! She was so sweet and friendly, and so down-to-earth which made me love her even more! I never wear make-up so putting anything besides mascara on makes me nervous. J was very understanding and made sure I felt comfortable with every step and never pushed me to do something I wasn't totally okay with.   • Jacquelyn did my bridal makeup for my recent wedding, and I cannot recommend her enough!! From our first email interactions to the trial and to my big day, she was a pleasure to work with: organized, professional, and most importantly incredibly talented at her work. I received so many compliments on my makeup - it was 95 degrees (and humid!) on the day of my wedding and I danced for several hours in the outdoor heat without any change in my makeup, it was so impressive that I had multiple people comment on the durability of the makeup the night of! I had 100% confidence in her ability to make me feel beautiful, and it was a relief to have a vendor I didn't have to work about at all.   • Jacquelyn did an amazing job doing the make-up for the bridal party and mothers for my daughter-in-law and son's wedding. I have never had my make-up professionally done before and I was a bit nervous. I was worried that I would look unnatural and had the craziest fear of false eyelashes. Jacquelyn put me at ease immediately. Her personality and love for what she does eased my fears. She explained the process and talked through each step.   • Not only is Jacquelyn an absolute professional - she is so much FUN to work with! She showed up early, provided music, and put everyone in the bridal party at ease. She was very considerate of each of the bridesmaid’s different tastes and styles, and did an AMAZING job incorporating that in their look.
    She truly went above and beyond any vendor - we were short on transportation to the venue, and she immediately offered to drive some of my bridesmaids there. When it came time to unload décor for the venue, Jacquelyn jumped right in to help - no questions asked!
